The Roots

I was born in the rural town of Gnadenhutten, Ohio.  The name of the town is derived from a German phrase meaning “Huts of Grace”.   I gave my life to Christ when I was 16 years old.  I have experienced a rocky relationship with the Father over the years but, as you will read in my blogs, I have always returned to my Heavenly Father for wisdom.  I married my high school sweetheart, Tina, at 19 years of age and after travelling during my 30-year career in the Oil and Gas industry we again live in rural Ohio.  I am the father of two and the grandfather of 3 amazing young humans.  I am a  flawed individual but I am willing to share the wisdom I have borrowed from God with you, the reader, to hopefully encourage you to learn from my mistakes and missed steps and to be encouraged that there is always hope when God is the center of your life.  I created A Word From Ted with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and I have been at it ever since.
